We aren’t from here. Drove 6 hours to celebrate our son’s return to the states at Fort Riley. We decided to stop and have breakfast. So we picked Stacy’s Restaurant. Best choice!! Absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere and just seeing that a mom and pop business can still stand strong.

Amazing food and service! One of my favorite diners in the country. The new owner was super friendly too.

First time trying this place this morning. It’s a seat yourself place. Waitress was super nice, chelsey I think her name was and even though it was busy she was with us quickly. Food also came out super quick! And delicious. Sweet tea is that southern sweet I miss from home. I loved this place. Will definitely come back.

First name basis family owned for decades place. We love it. Best brown gravy around and I get fries with my breakfast instead of hash browns. They're crispy and the gravy has bits of meat in it. Delicious! The staff rarely changes, and neither do the patrons. Locals, Military, and those lucky enough to wander in off the interstate. The pies are all homemade by Mary, the owner. If you're too full, get a piece to go. Love the sourdough toast option, and the french toast is delicious! Ham and cheese omelet has tons of ham! The fried chicken is very popular. I love the nostalgic table tops with adds for local businesses that were there when I was a kid, all yellowed from time. ❤️

Old school diner for breakfast and lunch. Only had breakfast here a few times but it was always large and tasty portions for reasonable prices. Waitresses are friendly and very efficient. My coffee is always topped off and people stop by to ensure I have everything I need.
This is a popular place and filled with locals and some soldiers from Ft Riley. The vibe is friendly and casual. Seating is booths and tables. Everything is sturdy but well worn and definitely not fancy. What you would expect for a rural diner that is virtually unchanged for 50+ years.

Remember Alice and Mel’s Finer? It was a bit like that. Wisecracking waitress. Good, plain good, great prices and a parade of locals and regulars. Throughly enjoyable and pretty steady stream of customers. Old school. A+

While visiting the Topeka area on motorcycles, we found this place on Google maps. We love the mom and pop diners over fast food or a Cracker Barrel (support local, right?), so this was right up our alley.
Although it was around noon, we all ordered breakfast and it was perfect comfort food. I just had eggs and hash browns, my husband had a delicious vegetable omelet and our son had a really good chicken fried steak and eggs. The sausage gravy was great and the eggs were made to our liking. Our server and other employees were very friendly. Although we didn’t talk to her, I believe Mary was walking around, chatting & asking patrons how they’re doing, etc…
The special of the day was fresh catfish and it looked great.

Folks if you are going thru Fort Riley/Junction City area and looking for a great place to eat, well here it is. Theresa and her staff are amazing. Some of the most respectful, courteous, and polite young ladies and men that I've seen and watched in some time. It is small town atmosphere in the big city lights. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside this quiet lil diner where they treat you like family. A lil better than some families do, lol. The food is just as amazing as the owner, Theresa and her staff are. It's a hop, skip, and jump off I-70. I'm telling you, if you don't stop in, you're missing out. Thank you Theresa and when in area, we will be stopping back in.

Forget about the national chains for breakfast. STACY'S is a hidden gem, right off os I70 in Junction City.
Excellent food served fast and hot. The service was perfct even with the place filled with customers. The servers were super friendly and took care to see if everything was too my liking. It was.
This was a pleasant surprise because I almost opted for a big chain store. Stacy's was excellent and I highly recommend it.
